Just followed this thread from the first post!

I HATE IT!!! Only joking, looks bloody gorgeous, fantastic work and you have made quick progress.

Your 12 years in the trade really show and from the pictures the finish looks perfect.

Mirrors are unique, cant wait to see more pictures as well as outside in the light to see the shiny paintwork :p

Keep up the good work mate :)

I'm going for a beer lol

I think you deserve it!

That is some cracking work, and the time you did it in,very impressive mate

Just read this whole thread.

Amazing work in such a short time.

Totally awesome! Really vivid colour, great finish!!

It's made me want to get mine resprayed all the more!!!

My hat off to you sir

Lovely colour and the finish looks fantastic, personally I'd have taken the bumpers off but then again I'm no expert on painting !

Lookings really good bud but where's the filler cap?

That's better few beers and now I'm chilled out on the sofa....

Once again can't say thanks enough for you comments as you guys and girls have kept me going :)

Filler flap I'm waiting for something to turn up and as its bank hols = no post :( so it's put me back on that and the same for the front bumper as I'm going to have to paint it again as got something in the post for that too..... But it all will be posted up :). (detailing)

Might.... Might! go in and flat and polish her up like glass tomoz or do it Monday not 100% yet....

I'll post some pics up of my old show cars as well so you can see what I do.

Booked the seats in for a re-trim and sorted out the r32 lump what is sitting at work what I spoke about in my earlier posts (just got to find away to fit it). My shed is full up with stuff to fit and mess around with over the next comming weeks for show season....

Oh had some good news today as a unit I've bin looking at they have excepted my offer and fingers crossed I'll have my own workshop VERY soon :D

And I would just like to clear the air and to say that not all the time do bumpers need to come off for repaints.... The only bit what doesnt get colour is the rear panel and the 5mil inbeteen where the bumper meets the front wing or the quarter panal.... And when everything is fitted up who see's the 5 mil or the rear panel anyway??? And as for painting under the bumpers.... You get I. Your knee's and paint underneath.... Simple's :)

If you have any questions pls, pls ask as I will explain everything an how I've done it or if you are doing something to yours and your looking for advice.... Hope you get to see her at shows and get to meet some faces too :)

Im off to bed lol (shattered).... L

EPIC just EPIC....... True legend the ultimate respray one man 48hours total legend! Respect to that! CLINK to the beer glass that is ;)

Absolutely top notch work here Bromo.

If you get your workshop set up in the near future you could start off by offering a discounted Brisky group buy. You very well may have some serious business coming your way going by what you have posted so far.

Will be watching this thread very closely to see the progress continue. Very impressive

Top work Bromo. You should bring it to the Castle Combe meet if you can? It would get a lot of attention.

PS: Car looking lovely! Still can't believe it was 48 hours work including the stripping down and rebuilding too!

  • Author

Cheers dude... It was a total of 32 and half hours all together what is just mad.... Thing is they are so easy to strip down and put together as its so straight fwd. my boss came in today when I went in to pick her up and he was gobsmacked!! Thing is its different when your working on your own car coz I just wanted to get it done :) best bit i like is the roof coz it looks epic in the sun light

Sent from la-Brom's iPhone...... Peace.
