Bumper problem

Hi, i have a 2000 octavia and the front bumper is pretty dull i was looking at the facelift model and was wondering if the bumper would fit the pre facelift model (if the brackets and mounts are the same) so i can start to make my car lookin a bit better. i need to replace the bumper anyway due to damage and would prefer the facelift bumper. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
