  • The amount of times us vRS owners need to check our oil it may well be worth it

  • It's almost too simple for a step by step, but I'll see what I can do The hardest part was working out how to remove the existing bonnet strut

  • Milotec sells them http://milotec.de/in...c64983fa7fe7e72 scroll down the page ^^ and installation instructions: http://milotec.de/media/content/pdf/Fabia%20II%20Facelift/58305_11_2010.pdf?XTCsid=

Is the one from Milotec a single lift or for a pair?

Single

£36. Hmm worth thinking about if it comes with the bracket.

Apologies for the thread revival. Did anyone ever get one of these bonnet struts in the end?

If so, any opinions and pics of the finished result?

There used to be a seller on ebay who listed some. I think they had a pair, rather then single, like the Milotech one. Not sure of the price either but may look and update!

As a driving instructor, I lift the bonnet quite a bit so although wanted some, have yet to fit. I did it to my older Yaris and they worked great but were chrome and got tarnished and rusty looking after a while. still work but not so nice looking!

Found the bonnet lifter seller again and they have offered Briskoda members free postage! I will name names if there is any interest. They are in pairs, black, not chrome so no corrosion.

Please, do send a pm :).

Any issues with the fitting of these Brimma?

How long time did it take to receive them?

I think it was between 2 and 3 weeks

If cheaper than buying direct from supplier :)

Hello Sonny.S - the struts are still available.

I can do it for £30 which will include shipping to your address of choice.

PayPal is the only way I accept money. If interested message me for the details.
