Bluetooth problem importing phonebook on YETI Elegance

Featured Replies

Hello,

Can any one please advise me ?

I took delivery of my new teti two weeks ago and have been trying ever since to load my phones phonebook into the cars system, I am getting reallt browned off by this, below is a copy of email I have just sent to skoda and my dealer, but perhaps someone out there can help me.

""Hello, I am

very dissapointed with the bluetooth system in my YETI

the system

connects with my phone, I am able to make phone calls etc, but it will

not let me download my phonebook onto the cars system.

I have today

taken the car to Rayleigh Skoda Essex group and they checked the system

and told me there was no fault (it downloaded the engineers phonebook)

and that it must be my pne needs a software update. I took the phone (

Samsung S GT 19000) to the car phone ware house and they updated the

software to the latest version, I still could not get the phonebook to

load onto the cars system. I feel that there must be a software

incompatability on the cars system, or your cars are not compatible

with samsung phones ??

It is very dangerous to have a system which

forces me to take hold of the phone and dial a number from the phone

instead of being able to do it by bluetooth, I have been trying to get

this working now for two weeks and it is getting very frustrating, and

spoiling my enjoyment of the car.

please can you help to resolve this

problem.

Many thanks

Jeff Golding

If anyone out there can help me I would be so grateful

regards

jeff

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hi, I welcome aboard. You might find someone with an answer in the ice section, this section is just where new members introduce themselves so it's less likely your question will be spotted here.

There is a pinned BT guide in the ICE section - it does date back to November but may be worth having a look at.
