It's a totally different car to the RS250, less focussed but a more rounded package. I like you chose the vRS for practicality as much as anything. Originally in 2006 when I got my first one I really wanted a Mk 5 GTi but back then I needed the boot space as we had a baby on the way. I think you would be impressed by what a good remap and some handling mods can achieve. If you're ever around Newcastle let me know as I would be happy to demo mine.

Just get into it and drive the $hite out of it

Trust me it'll be a grower. Take Jonnos advice and get the remap-I think you'll be happier in the long run.

I do feel it is growing on me,, I did give it a push before, 70 of course!!, and to be honest I was impressed as it didn,t take long

But lets not go there,, I have bought it for size and ability to carry my little family safely

As said earlier in the thread Andy, get yourself along to the next North West meet. You'll get plenty of ideas there - and a few demo rides out in various machines I've no doubt
