Do a compression test before,trust me!

What is so expensive about it? You just plug the air gauge in the spark plug location and crank the engine.

The gauge itself costs about 30 pounds if you buy it. :)

Don't start rebuild/buy another engine/buy another car before this easy,simple test..

The engine may burn the oil from another causes,piston rings are not the only cause.

@Andrey1989 - You got what we got on this one. I suggest starting a new thread with your model details (it can make a difference), observable symptoms, fault codes, and maybe even what reader was used to get them.
