iPad and Yeti

Featured Replies

Just found this site, had my wonderful Skoda Yeti for nearly two years but wondered if anyone can help me with a problem. I've just bought a new iPad (wifi only version). I've downloaded my iTunes library and paired the iPad with the bluetooth on the Bolero system, but cannot find a way of playing the iTunes library. Maybe it isn't possible but can anyone help?

I can do it on my Columbus. Make sure they are connected via bluetooth, not just paired. On the bolero, click media and on the iPad, go to music, then in the top right corner by the volume slider, there should be the 'AirPlay' button. This lets you chose what plays the music. You can choose from the iPad or whatever the cars bluetooth name is. Choose the car

This works for me

Many thanks, but cannot locate the 'AirPlay' button on the iPad. It doesn't seem to be there (close to the volume slider in the top right hand corner).

It sounds like either the iPad and car arent connecting or the iPad doesn't think the car is capable of playing music. Just to be sure, turn the car engine on, go to settings on the iPad, go to Bluetooth, turn it on, and click the car from the devices list on the iPad. It should say connected. Then go to music, and try playing something

Also, stupid question: have you used the mfd on the car to pair the iPad?

Hi - yes have done both things you suggested. My only thought is that maybe because the iPad is wifi only that the bolero system won't work without a network, even though the network isn't being used. I may go to the Apple store to see why there is no AirPlay button.
