Just spoken to the dealer today when I was in for a service. They said that they had again outsold last year and beaten Skoda's target of 250 cars. He also said something that surprized me, 3 superbs were sold to a Jag, a Merc and a BMW owner. Are people getting tired of German solutions and is Skoda getting to be a badge to have in the company car park? I'm hoping it means that those second hand values will keep climing and that we won't get as hated as BMW drivers!!!

:stupid:

i voted yes because i'm a badge snob.

what i mean is that i derive one helluva lot of pleasure driving a skoda and tanning many 'superior' cars. wouldn't have it any other way and look forward to the day when everyone realises what great cars they are with a touch of selfish sadness.

Fabias and Octavia Taxis.

That is why Skodas have outsold BM and Jaguar...

unless i'm mistaken the point being made was that they had improved on their own sales of last year, NOT beaten merc and bee-em and that superbs had been bought by luxury german marque owners.

DUH!! ;)
