Olympus e10, views?

Featured Replies

Currently I use a simple Olympus digital camera, but am thinking about going down the DSLR route.

I have seen a couple of these for sale second-hand at a sensible figure (less than £100) and wondered what people views were on them.

Any other suggestions around that price would be gratefully received.

For a decent Digital SLR you probably need to spend a bit more

IMHO You would be better off with newer camera , some of the Panasonic FZ ,TZ range or even the G1 series are superb value at the mo

Today the E10 has a poor viewfinder and small LCD , slow AF and poor low light performance... my current camera phone on the Samsung Galaxy S2 is far better!

For £200 notes you have a choice of Canon 350/400D Nikon D40, D50 Olympus E410,E420, Panasonic G1, Sony Alpha 100/200

Check out cash converters , they always have these cameras in at good prices and offer 6 months warranty if you dont fancy eBay

PS you don`t always need a DSLR either... some of the latest bridge cameras are amazing

Thanks.

I've only got £100 to spend, so that's my limit. Others have suggested going down the bridge way, and I have been given a link to some manufacturer renovated Fuji's.

CashConverters don't exist anywhere near where I live.

Thanks.
