Big mouth bumper with no fmic.... Would I look stupid?

Featured Replies

Basically Iv seen Afew red vrs' with bigmouth bumpers and I think they look really smart.... But without a fmic it would be a pointless mod to some people.... What are your thoughts?

Have no idea if Iv posted this In the rite place :/

Yes looks stupid and pointless.

Anyone else have any views on this,

If a load of people say no the. It will have to be a deffinite no :/

Do what you like dude, its your car.

Personally I wouldn't even if i had a FMIC I wouldnt, it looks a bit of a bodge and slightly barry boy

If I saw a car with a widemouth and no cheeky BFOFMIC tucked behind it i'd be thinking......

"All Show and no Go"

If you think it looks nice that's all that matters.

Personally (as you asked for opinions), I look at it and think 'Something's missing'. Waste of time & money until the FMIC is in place dude.

Sorry I'm crap at using forums lol, cheers mate, Iv been thinking that It would look empty :/ just running low on funds as on crap wage atm and just itching to do something else lol, cheers though Ben :)

It's entirely up to you.

Do you want the car to have the modded look?

Or more OEM ?

If the car has OEM alloys, i'd stick to OEM bumper, as for some reason they look a little silly when the rest of the car is standard.

I want a mean look mate,

Currently it's A red vrs, slammed on anthracite octavia wheels with 6k hid's and matt black grill,

What's oem look? :/ just been thinking that from the front it would have a nice stance and look mean :)

A mean look is a massive FMIC behind a subtle grille..not just a big gaping hole with nothing behind it. That would just look barry.

OEM is looking as it left the factory. The best way :)

Take a look at BossFox's Fabia build thread, he has a widemouth but has the plate mounted onto the grill and it looks spot on.... Cant really tell the difference but obviously stil getting the better airflow over the FMIC
