Warning triangle storage

Featured Replies

LOL !

Just realised today that the 'Warning' symbols on the plastic loading guard in the boot, indicate where the triangle is stored.

There's 2 rubber straps there (tucked away by the carpet) that I'd not seen before :giggle:

Yes johnny and I got a triangle as well as a pump

And just how long have you owned the car? Have you noticed the pen clip in the lower glove box lid? The clip for parking tickets in the front windscreen? The big round thing in front of the drivers seat that helps you to get round corners easier?

BTW, I got a triangle in a plastic box, from Tesco that fitted just perfect in this recess. They also made a muck up on the price, so I got it for well under half the normal price! :sun:

The worst one I had was on a mk1 furby, there was a small slide switch under the right side of the steering wheel. Didn't realise it was there for anout 4 years. Then spent an age going through the manual to find out what the hell it was for, sure I found the answer but can't remember what it did for the life of me, something to do with the AC I think.

On the mk2 though I have a triangle stored in said place in the boot, a pencil in the globebox clip and do use the windscreen clip for tickets.

How many people have never figured out what the U shaped piece of plastic in under the boot mat is for?

It took me a year to find out about those straps!

What straps??

Right behind the lip you will find two rubber straps. That is where the warning triangle goes.

That is what probably those two triangular markings mean. It all makes sense now. Hahaha.

I thought Skoda were indicating it was a trip hazard !

A lot of people dont realise how easy it is to re-set the service interval light/symbol!

Huh... I have looked at these straps a few times and.not.figured them out... Will have to have another look tomorrow

My Yeti has the marks on the lip but no rubber straps, I also do not have a u shaped bit of plastic under the boot mat. If I did what would it be for?

Do people know that you can put the parcel shelf lower. It can removed and put in the boot half way up.

Plus can be slid down behind rear seats to store it out the way as well

I Know

Me too. But still not worked out why i'd want to put the parcel shelf halfway down the boot. Anyone used it like that?

I didn't know that. But it would take up space really.
