Maldon is probably better than Burham 'cos parking there is always a PITA.

If you want a pub lunch on the way, the Lodge Country Inn just off the Woodham Ferrers Road, about halfway between the A13 / A132 junction & S W Ferrers might suit us.

It's often used by car-clubs during the week & the food is good too.

Yeah good point

Word of warning, avoid the A13 near the A130 junction and the surrounding area like the plague. Roadworks nightmare!

True, the Sadler's Farm roadworks can be a pain, but they are expected to be finished before the next Essex Meet.

(I used this route earlier today on my way from Grays to S. Woodham & sailed through the A13 to A130 transition under the new flyovers without any problem.)

Also, A127 - A132 via Wickford has been a good alternative.

I will come as long as I don't have to work. I'm starting a new job next week and don't know what days I'm free.

24 is a no aswell but I work most Sundays so Saturdays better for me but I can always come along after work as its only 4 hurs
