Advice on Yeti Prices..

Featured Replies

Hi all - I have been lurking in the back ground, after test driving a 1.2 yeti with my wife I'm pretty happy to look at purchasing one, after some fun cars i fancy something more practical and the yeti is ticking a serious amount of box's for me.

I do not like dealing with dealers so prefer to buy second hand, sadly yetis are few and far between which is a surprise as they have been around for a while now.

Anyhow to the point of my post i have been offered private sale of a 2011 1.4 tsi se and just wondering what you guys are feeling for it price wise? I'm thinking less than 14k is top price for private sell, i don't seem to be able to find any comparable spec etc on auto trader etc..

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this one..

Internet dealers are offering this vehicle brand new for around £15500 to £15900. That's a standard car in a non-metallic colour. I wouldn't want to be paying any more than around £14k depnding on mileage and exact spec.

All depends on mileage and condition.....Yetis still haven't dropped much in price yet and not many are being sold second hand, I have no intention of selling mine for at least another year...and it will be three years old by then, even so I still expect the value to be quite high as a trade in

Also worth noting that the Yeti is around 3 years old now I believe so you should start seeing a lot more come up for sale soon under the approved scheme, as many people change once the initial warranty is up and a lot of lease/HP etc deals will be ending. Prices on the whole do seem high still, be there are some great deals out there, especially with the Skoda dealers if you're lucky.
