PCV replacement?

Featured Replies

Is it worth replacing this on a car at 70k miles as part of a routine service, if only to know that it is working properly?

I changed mine 07 TFSI the new part is revised and even looks different, when I took it off something was rattling around inside but changing it made no difference to oil consumption.

I don't expect it to, but what about fuel consumption which it also affects?

If the valve was stuck open it could've been drawing oil into the intake which is what I hoped was happening when I changed mine. As for fuel consumption I didnt notice any gains there either mate infact with it going up a penny a week im getting less miles per £20
