As the meets have been (well lets be honest) dying of death recently, this thread is started so we can try and get back on track again.

So, who would like to do what for the May Meet? And please folks, can we keep the moaning, complaining and general p!$h to a minimum as it REALLY doesn't help to get decision made.........

Not that i'll be there...me being a non skoda ist....

But what about just Showcase? Plenty parking, plenty food places, bowling if any kids get bored (Craig included )

Pretty central for most too.

i would love to meet some guys off here as am only just really finding my way around forum properly and havent met anyone off here yet but kinda hesitant as i dont no anybody and would attend meet on my own

I was thinking more along the lines of a drive. Decide on a destination, plan a route and enjoy the day out............again, just a suggestion

There's a meet happening in Arbroath on the 16th with some of the lads from Aberdeen coming down.

Nice wee drive up there and plenty of great chippys. Got the pleasureland amusements to keep kids happy and the minature railway.

So for something a bit diffrent to the meets of lately (carparks, low attendance, standing about) the plan below sounds a bit more intresting so hopefully more people will be intrested as its already been mentioned by a few

Right so we need to get a date, time and place sorted with the chookters and then say a few hours before hand all the southerners meet at the showcase(coatbridge 1?) And head up in a convoy to said designated meeting point.

i am up for the meet so are we saying the 16th or this sunday the 13th if sunday i will com but if 16th wont be able ot make it. were about in abroath will we meet

Would need to get alot of intrest soon if we wamt todo it this sunday, would probably be best for someone that knows the area to decided but somewhere you can get something to eat and drink would be best

Why don't we make it the 20th, give folk time to see this rather than rush it.

I know arbroath quite well, nice wee snack bar at beachfront or could head to the harbour chippy.

Just realised the 16ths a Wednesday so no waaaay will I attend that lol this Sunday is far to shirt notice. Why not the end of the month, 27th? Give more time to get interest and sort out a route and convoy points........

Think the 20th or the 27th would be best, probably meet somewhere just outside arbroath to get everyone together then head on to somewhere for food etc..

With everyone thats traveling up meeting somewhere a couple of hours (not sure how long it takes to get there) before hand or joining up on route

Personally I'd prefer the 27th, gives us a bit of extra time for numbers etc

I posted a few weeks ago about a meet for or in the Dundee area. And the general answer was to try and get someplace where the guys from up by aberdeen can come. Arbroath was said and I think this week was mentioned to have it this weekend on Sunday the 13th.

I'll make a new post for the end of the month if anyone wants to stick there name down we can get a general list going. If you guys are gone travel up the more the better.
