VRS Brake's Upgrade

Featured Replies

I've used DS2500 and DS3000.

They are both a good upgrade, the DS3000's are awesome but............

Brake dust is an issue due to the high metal conetent in these pads, the DS2500 leave heavy black dust that's hard to shift. The DS3000's will give off residue that will burn into your paint and destroy your wheels, they are really competition only. You can actually see sparks coming up by the side windows during heavy braking.

Subaru fitted DS3000's onto the Impreza P1 but had to recall the cars, fit DS2500 and repaint all the damage.

The DS2500 will not damage paint but will require regular hard cleaning of the wheels to keep them clean.

Cheers
