For my budget, I have a choice between the Superb Estate 1600 Greenline SE or the Octavia Estate 1600 SE Plus. Any real concerns with either ?

Depends whether you want/need the extra space.

Does the SE Plus add significant options over the SE spec on the Superb?

Same engine puling a bigger car in the Superb - do you need the extra space? - if not there is a simple answer.

Id go for the superb simply cause they are stunning, especially the estate.

Hmm - tough one - Zippy or roomy.....!

I think I need to calm my driving down a bit anyway, so am tending towards the sedate (possibly under-powered) Superb.... Unless anyone thinks it's really is a slug...?

It won't be that slow, I went from a 1.9tdi 110 octavia hatchback to a 1.5dci laguna 3 estate and the laguna is just as fast for overtakes as the octavia and it's A LOT bigger!

Superb then get it sharked?
