Octa beam height adjustment

Featured Replies

As I didn't get much respone from the Vortex group, I thought to test

my luck here!

Does anyone know how we can adjust beam height (Normal, NOT xenon)? With the dashboard button

at minimum (-), I tried to adjust the height with the 2 allen screws at the

top of the headlight. The outer screw doesn't seem to function at all.

The inner screw (towards the radiator), adjusts the height but now I have

another problem: The adjustment range with the dashboard switch at the left

headlight ONLY, is very limited! The right headlight is functional as before!

Is there any interaction between the adjustment screw at the top of the

headlight and the motor that adjusts the beam heigth? What's the use of

the outer screw? Can we "separate" the beams from the 2 lights or they are fixed?

Also, I happened to see some drawings of the car and there is a mechanism

thats adjusts beam height automaticaly depending on trunk loading. Is

this installed to all cars or you have to special order it?

Thanks for any help.

Stavros.

hi stavros,

i think you'll find the vortex group was us!

hope someone can help with your query as we're picking up more and more members by the day.

regards,

I have just noticed recently while fiddling mith my height adjuster while waiting for a fare that my R/H headlight seems to stuck in the high position while the L/H remains free to move up and down. Must get it checked at the next service.
