Clutch Pedal

Featured Replies

hi all,

I know there is a design fault wiht the push rod plastic clip, metal pedal breaking, resulting in th epedal going to the floor etc, but this is different and im confused.

My pedal suddenly went soft for the first 50mm travel then felt resistance and disengages the cluch, it returns to its normal position and the car is dravable but feels bloody awful - like something major is about to go bang. On checking the clutch pedal the dreaed clip and pedal seem ok, but i notice when i depress the pedal the spring doesnt compress / de-compress in align. Its forced sideways about 30mm which is giving the pedal an awful feel. I presume it should work like a normal spring? that sounds daft but with nothing else looking wrong im scrating my head.

any help much appreciated - thx

PS i havnt actually stripped the pedal assy out yet.

please change CLUTCH MASTER CYLENDER
