bought a pack of those pills for my partners car(2.0 TDI leon), they seem to have worked grand, I looked up online but couldnt find exact figures for the size of the coolant system but found info on a GTI, I worked it out that it would need 3 tablets, so used those, 2 weeks now and no further problems, coolant loss has stopped and no more steam from exhaust in the morning.

Glad they have solved your problem! nice and cheap lol. My car has been run like that since April ish and mines still going strong

My Darkside EGR delete pipe should be here tomorrow, along with the plastic adapter thingy so I can do the EGR cooler delete as well.

Now got to fork out to get the sensor fixed and it should be sorted, oh that and the cambelt needs doing..............then it'll be ready to part ex next year!!

Not a problem glad you got it sorted what sensor has gone?

Just checked my VAG-COM and it comes up with an Exhaust Temp Sensor Bank 1 (g235) fault, which I'm guessing is the one before the turbo?

Have the engine management light on and glow plug light flashing.

Not had a chance to take it in yet as wanted to give the coolant loss a go.

Think mine was a g448. Might sound silly but plug vag com in and disconnect each one at a time and see if any extra fault codes come up. I got caught out with mine a while back but I was lucky I'm quite pally with the parts manager at Skoda and he took it back off me for the right one

Are the plugs located on the bulkhead on the right hand side as you look at the engine bay?
