Hi, I'm thinking of changing my car and am considering an Octavia - not normally bothered by colour but am taken by this combination of black alloys and grill (de-chrome) as on this car:

Anyone know what these option are called/ numbered and how much they cost? Are they widly available? I have seen a few cars advertised with black alloys but this is the only one I have seen with the de-chrome. Pity its a DSG for me.

Ultimately I guess colour/ wheels etc won't matter - it'll depend on price/ condition etc but it'd be nice if I can get one with that scheme!

The grille and the wheels have been painted. These weren't options from Skoda. Easy enough to do, mind.

That's not for me either.

Black wheels just look as if they've not been cleaned & I've never seen the point of having a vRS in Race Blue.

I much prefer a "stealth" approach to motoring so I'm happy with my black Octy & my Tango red V6 Mondeo.

It's more fun (IMVHO) to surprise one's fellow motorists when the red mist descends, & to just fade into the background when

trundlling around in traffic.

If the man likes black wheels, like me, he can have black wheels.

They have been a standard Skoda option for some time now on FL models. I bought a new set of Black 18'' Neptunes from Hortons Skoda, black were 40% cheaper than standard boring finish.

With a new set of Vredstein sessantas, Eibach pros and spacers all round I think they compliment the car and look good....

I Give an opinion and they try hunt you down... ffs, grow up, black wheels are hideous, if you like them fire away, not for me.
