Projector and hd fury cable

Featured Replies

Hi guys ,

For sale I have my home projector and hd fury cable . I also have an optoma screen that is avaliable.

Right the projector was bought to replace my Sony plasma and has been used as our main source of tv in the livingroom .

At 3 metres from projector to wall or screen it will thrown around a 60 ish inch picture . I can't remember off the top of my head but its 60+. For normal tv we project it onto a painted wall and the image is good . The wall is magnolia.

For movies it is projected onto a screen at a longer distance the other way in the room and throws out a 70+ inch picture .

The projector it's self has around 4000 hours on it but is working fine , The lamp is set on exteneded life and is run at normal brightness. This was connected to our sky + box (the white type) and worked perfect . Its was connected through a s-video cable.

The hd fury cable is for connecting to a playstation3 . I would think it would work with an xbox360 but I don't have one so can't say for sure. please check if your interested.

The hd fury cable converts the digital signal to an analogue signal of hd resolution this also works great.

The only reason it's for sale is I have bought another one as we now have sky hd and it is not compaitable with that even through the hd fury as sky block the use of external equipment by the type of signal there box put out.

The projector cost around £450

The hd fusy cable was around £70-80

The screen is brand new and never out the box as it came as a package with our new projector , but would cost around £100

Ideally the lamp shoud be getting replaced in the projector but as I'am no longer using it I don't see the point. I have looked into the price of the lamp and they are in the region of £100

As I said already the projector is working fine but if you know about them you know that after a certain amount of hours the lamp should be replaced as they are not as bright.

The projector is an ex531p optoma . with original box, instructions , carry bag , remote and power lead.

I have a couple of pictures the one on is in daylight.my livingroom is bright. At one end of my livingroom is glass floor to ceiling and wall to wall which is also south facing. And this is the type of picture you get no curtains or blinds closed etc.

I would like £200 or ono for the projector and cable

the screen I would like £70 ono

The screen is heavy and in a long box at around 8 feet . I forgot to say I'm sure the screen is a 92" diagonal manual pull down. Post of the screen would be on top of the price . But the projector I would be willing to post for the £200 price

Any thing I maybe missed please just ask.

Thanks for reading

I better just add that the top of the projector is in new condition it still has the protective covering over it . Its not damaged. just thought I would say as it looks funny in the picture

How about £150 for the projector and cable then , plus whatever postage would be around a tenner .

What aspect is the screen, 4:3 or 16:9?

16.9 I think I'll look when I get home from work at lunchtime

  • Author

the screen is 16:9 ratio
