hello everyone , i own a 2010 skoda octavia 1.8 tsi , it does have a projector headlight , after applying after market hid , everything works great , but the front wiper motor stop workin , ive done that twice with same problem , after removing them , after 5 mins everything comes to normal , i used a kit that is not specified if canbus or non canbus , tried a couple of kits , they work without any vcds work , but the wiper problem appear , could i know wts wrong ? and how to know if the HIDS canbus or non canbus ? thank u

The Problem would seem to be down to the HID kit if everything works when you remove them.

Where did you get the kit from and how long have you had it?

It could be a that the particular HID ballast you have does not have enough electrical shielding in the unit or wiring and this is causing interference on the rest of the electrical system.

Unfortunately the only way to test this is to buy another ballast, I have had a bit of experience with HID ballasts and the Slim ones you can get have give me the least amount of trouble (Mis-igniting, overheating etc.)
