Citigo VS Yeti MPG.

Featured Replies

We had a Citigo 60 hp greentech out on overnight test yesterday.

On the 20 mile drive home on slow A roads it showed 65mpg on its computer.

That included a couple of "what'll it do mister"through the gears, on dual carriageways, with some 70 mph cruising.

Our Yeti in convoy (without any welly) showed 51mpg,it's best ever I might add.

Returning to the Garage today from a cold start it showed 57mpg on quick B roads.

Our Yeti showed 46mpg.

Our friend ,who the test drive was for, has ordered the 60 Elegance in Green with Ivory trim just like in the brochure....

Quite impressive, even presuming the computer might be a few mpg optimistic.

I'm kind of guessing that the brains in both cars are the same.

If that's the case then, even if the figures are optomistic, the citigo is approx 10mpg better off.

Mind you it doesn't really surprise me.

It's smaller, lighter and more aerodynamic.

I was getting about 62 from the 75 Greentech Elegance I drove a couple of weeks back. Quite impressive. I'd say the VAG trip computers are a bit more realistic than some, so I don't think it's far off the "real" figures. Pretty good!

This all sounds good, as i have 75 elegance greentech on order

I drove a normal 60 SE and that averaged 55-57 mpg that was a mixture of main roads, and motorway cruising with 3 adults and a teen, which i think is impressive and had only from memory a couple of hundred on the clock, so with more miles youd expect to see that figure increase?
