Steering Wheel DSG Paddle Carbon Fiber

Featured Replies

1. I've been using these for a couple of months on my Octavia, which has a Mk5 Golf DSG steering wheel

2. Check that the shape of the paddles on the Fabia are the same as the VW, otherwise they won't fit

3. Don't for a minute think they are real carbon fibre, they are a carbon fibre effect

4. I love them, much more effective than standard paddles

2. Check that the shape of the paddles on the Fabia are the same as the VW, otherwise they won't fit

My first thought immediately. Definitely double check the shape.

they are same

they are same

Several previous posters have said otherwise, but for £30 you've only lost.........£30

The Standard Paddles on my Mk2 certainly do not look the same as the ones in the Ebay ad.

Taller,

nice smooth and curvy/concave with 3 slight ridges. (50mm x 42mm)

Suits my fat fingers just fine and never fails to do the job of changing gear without anything falling off.

as far i was aware we had the same paddles as on the VW Polo(6R)/GTI

The increased size is certainly a plus, the cheapo carbon look is a big minus for my taste. I'd seriously consider them If they ever came out in a black matte finish.

re VW Polo (6R) GTI

You would have thought the seller might have caught onto that and advertised and sold them to suit the Skoda's then.

Which leads one to think since they look different to the picture that they might well actually be different

Check & let them know and 'claim' your set of paddles as a thank you.

Then you can let us know once you have fitted them and you are 'sure' .

Just noticed he has no feedback which can be a worry.

Plus item will be shipped from China. Ask the seller to send a tracking number of the package!

Already got them for my Fabia... Doesn't fit.

Have your paddles turned up yet harri???? Just want to know if they fitted ok. Mine are on the way, just wondering if I have change design to make them fit.

Cheers ade

Keep us posted, like the idea but not the carbon finish. Would be worried they dont arrive/fit if coming from China.

They don't fit since it's a completely different pad in our cars.

Sorry to bring the bad news, but that's how it is.

And it got nothing to do with them being from China, it is because they are made for another car.

Even if someone from Brittain makes them for the MK6 golf, they still won't fit a Fabia ;).

Hope that brings clarity to those who are still wondering!

EDIT: I bought them from another reseller, and they could deliver them in fake-carbon, black with red text, the red/yellow/black (like the german flag) and white with red text.
