A real Yeti pick-up

Featured Replies

Does it look a bit like a new accessory for Barbie and Ken?

I still can't see the point of a pick up without an opening tailgate.

Looking at the additional photos just confirms my thoughts that it is a bit odd.

The wheel arches... Ugh! Nuff said.

The backwards sloping line of the top of the side windows... Ugh! Nuff said.

And the final straw is the interior.

Sorry but i'll stick with my conventional yeti

I really like that.. would be a superb holiday rental car!

Plus now the "in thing" seems to be 4x4.

(and stupidly low suspension)

Cant quite let that one go can you?

I quite like it, would be better if the arches were "complete" though.

T-bar roof would be good, too. Or even, as alluded to above, a pull out 2nd row of seats! :D

Love the bucket seats and race harness.

I bet it would be very popular with the youngsters who love the urbanised look on their softroaders.

i wonder how long the paintwork would last down each side with that chunk of wheel arch missing?

I don't think youngsters would be interested, it's only a two seater, most like to get eight or nine in.

Kia also considered this with the Soulster back in 2009, not sure if will ever be produced though?

I suspect this is a marmite car - but I like it!

I certainly like it better than the Soul, that rear roof line always put me off.

Interesting - I like the Soul too. I always feel it's a bit Yeti-ish. Still. it's all subjective.

The Soul is a funky looking car, much in the same vein as the Nissan Cube.

I see what you mean but I think the Cube looks awful! i suppose people that buy it must like it...

  • 3 weeks later...

  • Just saw in Auto Express that the Soulster looked as though it might go ahead after all. I only hope that my Fun makes it until either that (in yellow of course) or preferably a new Skoda version (perhaps a better thought out version of the one above) is launched.
