Window stuck half down - help please.

Featured Replies

Driving around with both windows half down. Get home. Drivers side window goes back up fine, but the passenger side will not. Using drivers side or passenger side switch makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

2005 VRS by the way.

edited to add - no noise from the window mechanism so prob electrical?

Thanks a lot. Gave the window an upwards tug and it's now gone back up. Does this still sound like the window mechanism (apols totally clueless!)?

Yes, the regulator cable clips will be sheared. They start off by just jamming the window at first, but soon shear off completely and the window falls into the door. Common fault.
