Haha I am glad they didn't land on nails on old gate post that were there.

Yeah had them on an old racing fiesta mk5 I had, them plus coilies on that chassis. Some gs in corners. Just about to get em fitted, kwick fit wanted 80 quid just for fitting....jog on.

40 quid fitted etc at inner ring. Jesus straight away notice difference from old tyres. Down dual carriage way for a mile or 2and then I realise how bad old tyres were. Completely forgot they're not best in wet. Massive spin up in 3Rd and 4th

If someone had thrown car tyres in to the garden with my dogs -they would have thought that they had just received the biggest chew toys ever and would have promptly ripped them to shreds. Good job that your lab isn't destructive.

Iv not had any issues with them in the wet? :-/ standing water is an issue if you try going flat out through a lake but apart from that in normal amounts of water they're fine.

Haha oh he is!!luckily he was pre occupied with the mini flood that occurred in the garden.

Yeah normal driving in wet not driving like a loon they're good. I needed to move on the worst junction in derby where ya join dual carriage and main route outa derby. quick burst of throttle spun up in 3rd.

ETS Tyres just up the road from them have done me fitting for about £12 a wheel in the past. Not for a while, mind, but next time it's worth ringing them and Derby Tyres (they're both on the same industrial estate just past Rollerworld and Spice of India, down the road from Inner Ring)
I think there's a wee problem with ethics floating around in this thread. ;) Can't help feeling if you try and do someone over, it will come back in some other form later, when you least expect it.

To be fair, many businesses make billions by doing customers over. It's a dog eat dog world, and I'd rather be eating than be eaten, lol.

Don't go ETS again dude mates just left. Bad vines coming from there. And plus I took the Octy there cppl years ago......took em 2hours to change tyres. Was watching films on phone so didn't notice. Spoke to manager and the reply "that's how long it takes" erm took em 45mins yesterday

Ah, fair enough. I've had a couple of decent experiences with ETS but as with anything, it's pot luck I guess. I dunno how much Derby Tyres charge just for fitting, cos last time I bought the tyres through them as well as they were competitive to within a couple of quid from Camskill and it's less hassle if something goes wrong, but they were professional throughout.

Also, the one I was thinking of on the same estate as Derby Tyres was CTS, not ETS, I'm getting mixed up in my old age ;)

I popped the Comps back on mine the other day which have Parada Spec 2s on. I was quickly made aware of their grip levels in the wet. Not the best, but prior to these I had Rainsport 2s on standard wheels, which are something else.

As posted earlier, knowing their limits is wise. I'll be taking it steadier in the wet with these on. Reports say they're excellent in the dry though.

There's some nice open country roads round here so can open it up a but but never use everything the car can do. I hardly use the car let alone when raining so perfect for me.

Did notice today on a38 just cruising up gears with a bm close to me bumper and it just feels planted now.

Yeah few good dealings with em then last time after me mate left not very good service, went inner ring. Couldn't fault em.

How will the delivery company be punished? They might have delivered the tyres, but they certainly did not deliver the service they were paid to. Is that obtaining delivery services by deception? Lol.

I wonder who signed for them....delivery man as all neighbours were out

If they are received undamaged, no harm done

If they are received damaged, return for refund/replacement

If they are not received, fair enough, complain and seek replacement

If they are received undamaged, used by you or sold on and you ask for a replacement set on the basis they weren't delivered, obtaining property by deception
