Yep ask for a POD, I did the same with Disney and got my order sent out again. That'll teach DHL to throw stuff over my gate.

Good thought I didn't sign and I'll ask neighbours if they signed. Haha yeah its like magic it appears and breaks a fence panel or 2 where they've been flung over.

I think there's a wee problem with ethics floating around in this thread. Can't help feeling if you try and do someone over, it will come back in some other form later, when you least expect it.

Was thinking the same, you may find you have an issue with another type of rubber and end up with a kid as payback. Happened to me, he 4 and a half now! (i will say i wouldnt change him for anything........... maybe a new vrs?..........no nothing.................uuummm)

Haha if I did and a new set came, bit sus car on drive with tyres on. I have a can for work. Ah not fussed about fence, just saying anything could of been behind the gate, such as the hound. Me mate works for dhl and said if there's no sig its the delivery mans fault. Not that im going to phone up mind.

Always careful, had these on a prev car. Know limits of em and I won't be getting anywhere near it in the fab

Ethics is sadly key to my job, which is why ethical issues seem to stick out like a sore thumb to me. I even turned down a fiver when asked by a colleague if I'd lost it at lunchtime where I was sat. I just knew it wasn't mine.

I got mine a few weeks back, they are *amazing* in the dry and scary in the wet!

I agree excellent in the dry, not so good in the wet. But then again I don't drive a tad spirited in the wet so it's not really a problem.

In a similar vein, I still think my Mum or Dad will clobber me if I tell a lie (VERY strict upbringing!) and the sad bit is they have both been dead for more than 20 years.It was just drummed into us (me and my brothers) not to lie, OR ELSE!

Haha I've not said im going to do it. Was just pointing out 300 quids worth of tyres were lobbed over gate with no note through the door saying they were there. It was monsoon season and I only noticed they were there when dog came back in with a Yokohama sticker on his mouth.

I would phone up for another set as I to will get a clip round the ear from mother for doing such a thing.... I'm nearly 30!

Home Delivery Network dropped a £500 laptop from Amazon over my (6ft) fence a while back, in the middle of a rain storm, and didn't leave a note either. Took me over 24 hours before I knew it was soaking in the garden.

As it was a Christmas gift for my other half I was sorely tempted to say it never arrived and get myself another that worked. Instead, I just went ballistic at Amazon. Who mostly took it like water off a duck's back but the sarcasm-laden written complaint was incredibly cathartic for me.

Not saying that you should wangle a free set. But at least make a big fuss.

And typically if you claimed they never arrived...you're next set will still be thrown over, and more of your fence broken

Used to run them on my golf, love the pattern and they stick like hell.
