Total Height

Featured Replies

Can anyone please tell me the total height of a new Superb Twindoor, from the ground up to the upper tip of the aerial. It doesn't have that measurement in the brochure and I'm thinking about getting it into my garage! Many thanks.

Newer models no longer come with the tall aerial shown in the brochure; they have a short stubby aerial similar to Mercedes, so unless you have to limbo into your garage, it shouldn't be a problem.

That is good news. Thank you.

1462mm.

1462mm.

What is that in real money? :wonder:

just over 4' 9 1/2". The estate is 1510mm which is just under 4' 11 1/2".

1462mm is for the twin door and 1510mm for the estate acording to the broucher.

Unfortunately my OP was the measurement from the ground up to the upper tip of the aerial. All these that have been kindly posted so far are taken from the brochure which does not include the aerial. Maybe some kind soul with a newish Twindoor could just tell me the measurement of the new `stubby` aerial itself. Many thanks.

You're right and I'm sorry. I don't yet own mine so can't go out and measure. However the brochure shows the small aerial on the estate. As far as I can tell, the maximum height of the aerial is the same as the maximum height of the roof rails - 1510mm.

I have the twin door and the broucher shows the "stubby" aerial no higher than the roof of the car. I have just gone and looked at the car and would agree it is not higher than the roof of the car.

Hope that helps.

This has got me really confused... I'm looking at the latest (I think) brochure (dated April 2012) and all three pictures of the Twindoor definitely shows an aerial sticking up. On the pictures of the Combi it doesn't show an aerial for some reason!

I have the stubby aerial which does not stick up any higher than the roof (sat nav and tv type equiped). The broucher picture is the aeial which I presume does not cater for sat nav and tv but is not my aerial.

Ahhhh, looks like your aerial, being so small, is something to do with you having the `L&K`. Mine will be the `Elegance` which has Sat-Nav but not TV. Maybe that's the difference... the TV. Thank you for your time.
