Whilst browsing the web again, I came across this vRS SE.... It has a retro fitted sun roof! Has anyone seen these before?

Never seen it on a Fabia before, but aftermarket sunroofs (Webasto) used to be more popular in the days before aircon was widely specced on cars.

Suspect the noise on the motorway with it fully open isn't good. I have the Blackline, which came with factory fitted electric sunroof. I'd much rather have aircon instead.

Any sunroof is a no no imo, looks gash, doesnt bring anything to the car extra apart from weight and leaks.

Agreed it's awful, ruined a perfectly good SE. Just WHY would you do it lol.

Agreed, its not going to be a classic. I like sunroofs personally, let a bit of light in, haven't had one for ages.

No never a classic by any means... I can't imagine there will be a standard one left in the next ten years, a bit like the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R.

Nevertheless, SE is still a lovely car.

I personally quite like these roofs. I once looked at fitting one to my old felicia as I could get hold of a second hand one in good nick for a decent price.

Granted it doesn't really add much to the car for the £1000 cost but it also doesn't take anything away/ruin it either.

Not to everyone's taste and yes it does look like a 500. Obviously served a purpose and to be honest doesn't look that bad.

I actually quite like it.

If the grey spolier thingy was painted race blue, would look much better though.
