Ha ha nice one,., which Ferrari would you take??

What 225 did you have, and what you think of it?

I had the cup only had it less than a year I had accident (not my fault) and it just was not the same after that. It was a great car a real head turner.

As for the farreri. Not sure yet something I hope Santa will get for me so I can cruise on the highlands next summer lol.

The mk1 was remaped to about 220bhp and the mk2 which is standard feels about the same tbh. The interior of the mk2 is a lot nicer though. The impress was a great car, I put some borla replica headers on to make it sound like a turbo and it was imense, I had a vortex afterburner on and it was loud lol. Could set car alarms off as I drove by. I loved that car, I only got rid cos I couldn't justify the 200 miles out of a tank of fuel costing 50 quid, that was 4 years ago, dread to think how much it costs now to fill up :o I do miss the scooby waves though from fellow drivers lol

Actually quite nice to try to remember all the cars I've owned, but I think I have most of them now:

Sierra 1.8LX

Orion 1.6i Ghia

Escort 1.4LX

BMW 316

BMW318

Astra GSi

Punto Sporting

Ford Focus

Ford CMax

Subaru Impreza WRX PPP

Range Rover

Octavia Vrs

Bikes:

Kwak ZX6

Honda Hornet 600

Yam R6

Honda CB750

Aprilia Dorsoduro

Like most, some good and some bad. Memorable cars; Subaru for performance and handling and the RR for luxurious comfort. Would much rather be on 2 wheels but the UK weather doesnt warrant it.

My Clio 172 Cup still brings a huge smile to my face after over 9 years of ownership. My wife's been using it in the wet as its still got some all season tyres on with more tread than on my Scout. Takes me back to one of my first cars - a 205 GTI 1.9 as there are no aids like ABS, traction control or air con. About 53k on it, but worth so much more to me than its market value. Clubland 21 and a double quarter pounder anyone?

Had a UK R33 Vspec which was a hoot when I replaced its OE Bridgestone RE010s with some slippy Avon ZZ1s. Drifting round the roundabouts of Milton Keynes after a day at Millbrook.

After a couple of 450 BHP beasts I'm a diesel convert these days.

Yes I remember the 172 I had a cup version which also had no abs or traction control, what a nightmare to keep in a straight line!!!! The amount of power for a little car! I so wish I had got a trophy!!! I even look at the classified ads now and would love to buy one!!

Sure the wife would have a face on!!!

What was the difference between the mark 1 and 2 Octavia????

I have always wanted to drive an impreza!!!!

Yes I am very bored!!!!!!!

Mk1 VRS was a 1.8T, 180hp in the Octy but anything up to 225hp in various guises (TT I think)

Mk2 is a 2.0T with 197hp in the TFSI and a little more 205h[? in the newer TSI engine.

It's a dead interesting subject especially when you see owners have a type of car, then after several types we see a return,

I think that is great to see,,,, nobody owned any 80,s icons like the xr range or the magic turbo, or even the monster cosworth!!!!!
