Skoda Parts

Featured Replies

Not sure if this is really in the right section, but should be fairly relevant.

I'm looking for some parts for my Felicia, I've used Jorily, which seemed pretty good as they had parts that others didn't. But their website is currently under maintenance and their ebay shop has shut down. So two questions, have they stopped selling, and if so where's a good place to get parts.

I'm looking for a gear linkage kit, and the floating pins that the brake callipers sit/slide on

Thanks Will

Have you tried your local Skoda dealer? I've had a few parts for the Felicia from http://www.skodaparts.com/ too....

There's not a lot've stuff on Skoda Autodily yet but if you contact him with what your looking for he should he able to get it for you. I bought a timing chain from him the other day and received 2 days later! :)

I used to hop on the train from Sheffield to Barnsley to pick up parts from Jorily as that's where they're based. A return train fare (with a railcard) works out cheaper for me than postage. Helpful fellas they are and I suppose I'd describe the prices as particularly favourable, probably better than a motor factors. Part quality varies depending on which parts you're actually buying, but is mostly of a good standard.

I've always used the dealer for certain parts, though. Stub axles, air filters (cheaper than motor factors), other niggling bits. However, as some here might know, my alternator packed in and Skoda wanted about £230 for the alternator and then £191 for the pulley! I was so disgusted I wet myself with disbelief. Prices are generally cheaper than you might expect, especially when you compare them with other dealers, such as Ford, who, so I hear, are often unjustifiably 'overenthusiastic' with their prices.

Cheers for the help guys, found most of the parts I am looking for, but I'll give them a ring tomorrow to see if they have more unlisted.

I've tried going through the local dealer before but you need to know part no.s etc. Hopefully after this little overhaul it should be running a dream this time next week.

Your dealer needs better staff then, that's their job to find part numbers, not yours. However, vag-cat can be useful in that respect if you are dealing with morons.
