It doesn't bear thinking about the amount of cars owned over the years, suffice to say everything from classic/new Mini's, Escorts/Impreza's to name two

To use a yucky term - this ticks alot of boxes

still undecided on the yellow but it looks tidy, i like mine

I dunno whether I could call mine the best, but then my last 3 cars and ~10 years have been spent in some kind of VW TDI derivative (firstly a 90bhp TDI Golf, then my Leon Cupra TDI and now the Fabia) so I think I'm probably just all TDI'ed out. Just wish they weren't so cheap on running costs and I could buy something mad instead!

Haha. I was just about to type the same thing gac. Especially once hybrid etc fitted, I really can't come to change it.

love the yellow, but like you say keeping it clean is a nightmare. Cleaned it sat, drove across town and back ends already got thin layer from exhaust.

Since I've only owned 2 cars in 15 years driving, I can probably say my Furby is my best car I've owned. :yes:

I'm sure a Yellow are isn't as bad as trying to keep a Black one clean. It looks great when freshly washed, but drive it for 20 or so mins (less if raining) and it's mucky looking again. I will never buy a Black car again!

My yellow one isn't too bad as long as I'm sensible. But there's still a bit of smog if I provoke it, sadly. Nowhere near as bad as it used to be, but it's not perfect.

I don't know if this is my favourite car I've owned. Especially as its my 11th car in 7 years. but it is certainly quick enough and a lot cheaper compared to last 2 cars (Leon cupra r and Evo 5) so I think I will be keeping her for a while

So good that even with the latest offers, its difficult to see the value of changing and I've done a lot of um and arr ing.

I was very tempted just now but going to octy route (imo better value, as the engine range is more limited on the fabia) is on face value more costly than its worth to get a similar car as the mk1 ... plus it will never be as cool

Chalk & cheese I know comparison wise to a vRS, but rate my old Fun as the best I've owned accepting the fact that many people may struggle to get their head round that

I second that, simply the best car I've ever owned and I've had A LOT of cars!!! Just stormed past 138k miles god knows what I'm gonna do if this one ever dies on me..... Probably pick up another one the same!!
