JOM coilover help!

Featured Replies

Going to buy some of these from DPM as they've got no fk ak streets in

The question is... Is there everything required to fit in the kit I'm buying for my fabia vrs?

Or do I have to buy drop links seperate?

Thanks

I believe you need to buy the drop links separate with this kit.

can someone also clarify if the ibiza 6L ones will fit the fabia VRS?

might sound really silly but will see if they have these in instead

thanks

You should really get the correct kit for the car, getting one for another may well fit but the spring ratings will all be wrong as the cars have totally different weights. Result would be rather interesting handling, that could put you in a ditch.

SMVW9005

this is the part number on DPM and they are both the same in the listing for the fabia and the ibiza

they are both listed as the same weights as well

I've now found some for £10 more than venom and DPM and I really want them to get them done next week

Just need some clarification

Thanks

some say you need shorter drop links with the JOM

some from the mondeo work fine i believe

It'll depend how low you go on the JOM kit as to weather or not you need drop links.

Bought JOM's from Venom a year ago, the Polo 9N kit is the same. I used Awesome GTI drop links as the standard drop links are too long and the anti-roll bar will rub the drivers side drive shaft.

Unless you want to fit the kit and not actually lower the car, you'll need droplinks.

I used 2004 mondeo ones on mine and there is still evidence that it is rubbing slightly on one side.

My car isn't on the deck either. It has just over 1cm more of threads left on the front, and the majority on the back.

Drop links are fairly inexpensive.

I had Mondeo drop links and I was low with no scrubbing
