Hi, daft question but does this allow you to connect your phone to the Columbus unit and controll it through the unit?

i think you need the maxidot and FL cluster to have this bluetooth module. but you would be able to read sms in the maxidot

All i can tell you. this is the box you need to buy when your phone will not connect in the early superb with the Columbus fitted.

Can you still use this item without maxidot? Got a 2010 octy vrs with Columbus , heard you can but no voice controls???? Where are you located?
