Black round things, How big and eco friendly are yours?

Featured Replies

We have a Citigo Elegance Greentech, the brochure says that the Greentech models come with low rolling resistance tyres, the ones fitted are Continental Premium Contact 2E, nothing about being "eco" at all, expected to see ContiEcoContact 3.

Can I have some replies from anyone who has a Greentech model with their tyre types and sizes and anyone who has a "normal" model with the same information, I wonder if their will be any difference?

My details are, Elegance, 3 door, 60PS, 175/65 R 14, ContiPremiumContact 2E

I'm fairly sure Mrs' one has Bridgestones on it -will check when I get home

I thought they came with the continental eco or hankook eco

I will ask my dealer which ones are on mine

The Continental Premium Contact 2E appears to be an 'eco' version of the standard Premium Contact 2; this 2E tyre pattern is also common on the Yeti GreeLine II, whereas the 2.0TDI engine models get the Contact 2.

I found this article about the UP and Citigo getting Bridgestone Ecopia EP25: http://www.tyrepress.com/News/business_area/27/volkswagen_up_skoda_citigo_fit_bridgestone_tyres.html

Thanks for the replies so far, I'd just like to see some evidence that there is a difference between Greentech and normal model tyres.

I have the 60ps Elegance and i have Bridgestone Ecopia EP25's on mine, i like them - they seem grippy.

Confirmed Bridgestone ecopia

Conti 2E on ours

dunlop sport 01's on my fabia green line, not exactly an eco tyre i was expecting

Bridgestone for me too on my 60ps SE standard model.

Bridgestone on my Elegance 75ps greentech
