As in the build thread, Is it possible to avoid the silicon bend by welding an alloy bend onto the IC outlet?

Not to weld more pipe on, but it would be possible to change the angle of the outlet. Would have to be a good alloy welder though.

Ah, so cut the existing outlet at an angle and weld new on. Was thinking that the right alloy pipe would be significantly slimmer than silicon plus clamps.

Yeah basically, that's right.

I mean... It works, don't get me wrong, but having the top outlet at a different angle similar to the standard intercooler would have helped the fitting.
