Anyone fitted the washer cap to their Ibiza 6L?

I fitted the coolant cap no problems but the washer cap won't close. The part that clips into the top of the washer bottle seems to be smaller than my current blue one. :(

So the cap is too tight or too loose?

Too tight, won't physically secure shut.
