I have Skoda Fabia (2000) 1.4 Litres with dead car battery. Original Battery is BAT 065/3. I ordered a new Battery from www.eurocarparts.com which suggests you the Batteries after putting my Car Registration number. I bought Excide Excell 012 3. Now the battery I received is smaller in size than original one. I am just wondering if this is the wrong battery size (dimension), and which Battery should I go for.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi pancaz, we have a unipart battery on our 02 Fab 1.4 - Part Ref: GBA3063, EN 350, 40 a/hr, r/c 65. Had it on 3 years + with no probs.

Looking in plan approx 180mm x 150mm. Hope that helps

Hi ya, on our Fab the battery sits inside a closed black plastic box arrangement & the current unit doesn't fill the available space. On this size of vehicle the batteries don't tend to be all that big size wise so just ensure you install the right one in respect of rating etc

No probs, in my experience you shouldn't need to fork out more than around 40 - 50 quid for a half decent one. Good luck
