Tis great, present nutter mobile is a 695 bhp integra...it's great except it essentially blows the engine after 3 laps...

Neo told me about the Rotary class (level 10) and an oval...not this is where my virgonian trait comes out...I will get faster...top pace is 1:35 I'm on 1:43 atm...god knows where his 8 seconds comes from, but I'll find it or get rsi trying :D

It's very enjoyable to play this game, you find yourself getting better and better the longer in each car...the integra was a pitfa to drive, but now I'm getting the hand of her..just need another 6 sets of wheels and brakes :D

The environment is lovely, the AI is bloody clever and quick...even with twice the power a simple off will have you cursing and hitting restart...thus too much power is actually bad...just enough to outsprint em on the straights is good as they will nail you on the bends (a few anyway). Pit stops are fun, being a regular thanks to the integra's ability to munch it'self on launch :D

Sounds like the real life Evo's where Mitsi don't recomend you do to many traffic light grand prix's due to the clutch not been able to cope :D

I agree with what ColinD says

its relatively easy to make a supercar humbling car... but it wont handle or brake like a supercar  - ive got a RX7 thats great for doing the ovals.. can crack over 210 in someones slipstream.. but show it a corner and itll head for the tyrewall backwards. :o

Sounds like most Yank cars

got a new toy now anyway, a turbocharged 680bhp nsx.. 215mph off the limiter until i can afford to get a racin box put on :D

I was playing this yesterday - you can tint the windows!!!!!!

I take off only TCS I leave ABS and stability control on.

This is a fantastic game.

We should do a test like the GT4 boys did I will lay down the gauntlet Enzo Ferrari / The Ring / sub 9 mins. (8:58) GO!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:thumbup:

No not on LIVE! Have a modded xbox that I can't switch off I use X-Link for online games.

I take off Stability Control as I like a bit of sideways action especially when viewing the replays

TCS is a load of rubbish as it restricts the power alot when taking off the line and as I like laying rubber down on the tarmac it's a big no no..

:D

P.S. Neo where is my invite to the Briskoda car club, I couldn't see it when I logged into live the other night ?

I think this is a brilliant game and the cars actually don't handle if you put to much power through them. I currently own an Audi TT 3.2 Quattro with about 400bhp aided by a huge turbo that is great in a straight line but introduce a corner and all mayhem breaks loose, must remember to uprate shocks and tyres though I do have bigger brakes on it so it stops better :D

Only have ABS as otherwise I'd have to think about braking points more :D

Will be back soon :D

Neo whats the oval course, the ring is good but hard to do, tweak and go faster many times in an evening. IMHO you learn more doing the short tracks often, then we'll do the ring times in a few weeks :D

Umm need to save up for an enzo :(

If the Enzo in PGR2 is anything to go by it will handle badly and have miles to much power to be able to humanly cope with

Theres two... the test track oval is the one your thinking about.. you can get to it thru the tuning "test drive" menu :D

bought Forza last night...it's still early days and I might be missing something but it's nowhere near GT4 in any department but the graphics and general presentation seem particularly bad :(

What is all this about driving with ABS, TCS and whatever the other one is - take them all off NOW!!!! Also take off the suggested line, up the damage to simulation. I'll let you have it on normal and automatic.

I tried it with ABS on as some of cars did seem a bit overbraked but now i've learnrt just be very VERY gentle with the brake!

My Lancia delta has 0-60 0f 2.8 seconds and its only running around 350 bhp

Not turned ABS off yet but all the other options are off. Get the Delta but not done anything with it yet so it's still standard. Must say the Teggy Type R handles like a dream but could do with alot more power. Got a little Audi TT 3.2 Quatro running around 400bhp but it requires slamming and decent tyres as it has a problem on the bends.

well, the first car club challenge is this:

the first track on the rotary challenge (the ovalish one)

ColinD has been tearing his hair out on this one :D

Lol...was 8 seconds quicker than you for a few days :(

Enzo actually isn't that bad, played online with one....learning that full throttle is bad.

I just hate RWD...except my mugen S2000; thats fun :D

Just tuned up an Integra Type R with over 640bhp, got round the oval track 10 seconds quicker than you Col, have to accelerate easy off the line otherwise you leave half your tyres as you take off

Which oval?

Test rack Oval or rotary series ;)
