Washing Windows

Featured Replies

Half a bucket of hot water, one drip (literally) of washing up liquid and a good splosh of vinegar here. I've tried newspaper, but always end up with lines, so just use a good rag now.

Mostly water little screen wash and some malt vinegar just half a dozen drops in 1 litre

I used neat vinegar on the windows last night it comes out of the bottle in a fine mist and used scrim to go over the windows. The windows are now mist free but the car has now got a strong vinegar smell. I shall try newspaper next time to see the results.

Yes however for tight arses like us we need it free ;)

A dry soft cloth, no water or any other products, just a good halping of elbow-grease! It's always worked for me. It even takes the dogs snot off the windows!

It is expensive but it lasts ages :) try it

I Have the foam applicator pads which I use for applying it, uses it sparingly. Less is definately more with it :) last for months and months. I had fast glass but it didn't last a crack in comparison and didn't do as good a job :)
