about time Colin ;~)

Behold.... the fleet! :D

It's funny how this city car actually makes the Octy 1 look quite small!

first time I've really seen our new car in the daylight - dull day and camera phone, so not ideal shots

Looks nice Mick,

Personally I would have had no stripes rather than just the red bottom one.

Black stripe there yes, to compliment the alloys, but not sure on the red...

But thats just me, and we all like different things dont we.

Anyway, enjoy the car fella

Damo

Looks great :)

Too many doors though :)

Hope you enjoy it.

So much more refined than those red ones don't you know ;)

Did you remove the stripe yourself? Getting mine on finance and not sure if it'll affect any warranty etc or if i can just stick another back on when I give it back.

The sticker comes as part of a set, which is around the £200 mark.

So it may be better to leave it on if on a PCP.  If buying on finance it's yours.

Shouldn't have any effect on the warranty, it's only a sticker.

The dealer removed before delivery. I have it on pcp, they were a little unsure about removing them all (as SWMBO originally requested) otherwise it may not have been a true 'sport' come trade-in. I talked her into keeping some, personally I like the compromise, tho' I think that given a choice black stripes may have been better.

I guess if it really were to hit value then I could have them put back on.

Thanks, think I will follow suit :)

Yeah, it did thanks!

Drive safe on those roads! Nice chilly pictures.

Sadly now without the Sport, heres my new S trim Citigo. It's got a spare wheel and the PID.

Looks great fella

Ok, the Sport has a few nice looking features... but once your behind the wheel, who cares

Very nice. The best colour :)

As said it's the same inside. Enjoy.

Would be interested to hear a comparison review of the S vs the Sport. Does the suspension and tyres make any noticeable difference day to day? I have driven an S model briefly, and the wheel and gearshift certainly felt different to handle, which made an impression.

Great photos :)

I wish mine was as Red as that but it's almost black now :(

Yes the steering wheel did feel odd to hold after the 3 spoke one the sport has, getting used to it now, doesn't feel as alien lol,The gearshift is pretty much the same if anything it feels a bit tighter and solid when changing. Same gear stick minus the leather & chrome bits. the handling is still sharp although the suspension is less stiff and combined with the thinner and taller 165/70 R14 tyres it soaks up road imperfections a bit better, very refined but more susceptible to roll when pushing on a bit through the corners - fairly minimum. Certainly not enough difference between the two that I feel robbed of any driving pleasure. I don't what it is but it feels nippier and more responsive than the last one... Stripped out S with less weight?

All in all I'm very happy with my little S, hopefully we'll cover many happy miles together! :)
