Cupra R Splitter - Ouch!

Featured Replies

Wow, £45 from the Seat Dealer here in Leicester!

Part No. 1ML 805 903

Is it easy enough to fit? I hear you just need to chop a little off the sides?

You shouldn't need to chop the sides, but you will need to carefully cut down the two "fins" in the middle. They're there to lock into the bumper on a Cupra R, obviously there's nothing to lock into on a Fabia. Make sure you do it well though, mine was badly done when originally fitted which caused the middle to droop, made worse by the fact I kept catching it on the poor roads. Fitted well, the splitter looks great, but if you rush it and do a bad job it's soon going to look pretty ****e.

You will need to trim the ends also.

Inch off each end & a cm off the two posts in the middle iirc

Get it from tps on abbey lane mate, it's in the Audi/vw garage! £32 a couple of weeks back

i like the way you measure half metric half imperial, that must keep the brain going when you do a big job!

Lol, that's about as bigger job as I can manage!

haha im the same. im a plumber and we still use both. Metric is easier though for small amounts as eighths and sixteenths get a bit annoying

Tbf, I work in an engineering place and we mix our size measurement's up, we sometimes work with imperial sized bar but measure in metric.

We used to bore block's to a metric size, but all the boring bar and measuring tool's are all imperial so it was just a blag to convert all the sizes over haha.
