Hello,

I was ferreting around a website and found some thinks I'd like to have our opinion about please.

http://www.skodaparts.com/product/black-magic-aerosil-spray-22013 - paintwork repair kit or maintenance kit?

http://www.skodaparts.com/product/cd-magazine-32662 - is that plug an play autochanger for Swing (and others) or just a storage unit? Price would usggest a storage unit...

http://www.skodaparts.com/product/fabia-overhead-sunglass-holder-2007-2013-31921 - does this replace something which is already there or is it just an add on?

http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octavia-front-mudflaps-2006-2013-22402

http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octavia-rear-mudflaps-2006-2013-22401

Has anybody installed them on their Fabia? Any photos how do they look like installed?

Thanks :)

The cd magazine is simply a magazine which fits in the autochanger in the boot or where ever . I had one in my octavia vrs Mk1 and allows about 6 cds to be loaded then you select between the discs on the head unit. You would need the auto changer though. The sun glass holder is the one thing i did buy after purchase and is very useful. You will have just a plastic cover in this area which unclips and the holder is a simple push fit.

As for mudflaps i bought mine off Ebay and they were under £20 for all 4. The seller ID hsc_701103 however i cant see them listed now but they are well made. Maybe worth contacting them with your enquiry .

Octavia mudflaps wont fit ;)

The ebay ones from China look better imo

Got the glasses holder and I've yet to find a good pair that fits. Mudflaps I had from dealer even though on the estate they said they couldn't fit rear ones because of the suspension. Couldn't see how but went down later on, bought a set for the standard estate and fitted myself.

Sunglasses holder is in lieu of the roof lining plastic grill that does nothing. Take that off and clip in the holder.

As stated, the autochanger magazine is a magazine for 6 CDs that then slides into the autochanger.

The spray is black magic spray - I don't know whether £12 gets you a big can, but I'd hope so!

The sunglasses holder as a factory fit option has just cost me £20.83...which I assume is the same thing.

That was when including the VAT priced @ £25 ,

price on the 'Factory fit Options' in the old brochures,

They come fitted in the correct 'Black' for the headlining.

New brochure i have is not showing it, so are they maybe standard now or becoming standard.

Or maybe now to be a Dealer Fit option?

OK, that is what i says there but what does it do? Is it a ouch up kit (bit large for that) or some sort of detailing Balck Magic mojo ?

Good point about sunglasses actually being able to fit in there, mine are usually on the largish side B)

I have a pair of wayfarer style shades in my holder fit just fine. I bought mine from Hortons as well fitted fine and correct colour
