is mine a "facelift"?

if so what are the differences?

Different headlights, different tailights, different climate controls are the main external differences. There are subtle wiring differences as well.

if your headlights wrap round the side of the car and have Octavia printed inside then its a facelift.

Facelift.

Yes, yours is a facelift, that came in at the start of 2009 with a late 58 plate. Main difference is to the front of the car, a different climate control unit, new steering wheels and the introduction of the Bolero radio.

ah yes until yesterday i had the bolero

and yes i can now see the differences

i need my eyes testing lol

thanks guys

seeing im on a roll lol

whats the difference between my 1.6 tdi & a Bluemotion 1.6tdi?

i have no bluemotion badges so presume mine is not?

Bluemotion is VW's 'green' version.

Skoda use 'Greenline'.

The Greenline gets economy low profile tyres, a stop/start system, energy recovery and very slight aerodynamic tweaks.

Oh, and a bright green 'Greenline' sticker on each front wing and a 'Greenline' badge on the boot lid.

thanks for the replies guys

i now know

Oh, and a bright green 'Greenline' sticker on each front wing.

I keep meaning to take these cheap looking stickers off. Does anybody have any tips?

Hairdrier (or a warm summers evening sun for a couple of hours), sticker remover and lots and lots of rubbing with back of your thumb. Then when you finally get it off, clean the area. And they remember there's another one on the other side, and say a swearword!

I like my wing stickers, it makes it obvious why I'm loosing at Traffic Light Derby!!
