Heavy duty/competition clutch?

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to look for one of these? I want one for a diesel (same as petrol?) I'm collecting bits for a td conversion and dont want to be worrying about clutch breakage.

Diesel clutch is different to petrol though, not sure if other VAG stuff will be an easy route, as the engine was used in a fair few, but I don't know if the clutch is felicia-only due to the box used...

I know you can get paddle clutches from CZ; my car had one in at one point but was of course petrol. I think CZ is the best place to look for anything like that, it's the main market for that sort of thing.

I have a paddle clutch on my Felicia rally car that I got direct from Helix here in the UK. Not sure if they do one which will work with a Diesel felly though.

A diesel clutch with an organic plate will just cope with a 90 bhp tdi engine.

A long and repeated story is based on the clutch in my mtdi pickup.

Nothing worked including uprated covers with paddles.

The short version is, it now has a multi paddle ceramatide (or a similar word) paddle drive with a 2 piece helix race cover in a machined diesel flywheel and does not slip containing the result of a fairly well set up tuned engine and I saved up for the 2 years it took to sort it, for it.

go onto http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/ and go onto skoda felicia there are loads of skoda proformance parts, there are paddle clutches on there to
