What size sheet would I need to cover both headlights

Thanks

I honestly don't know but I bought the big one and was enough to do the headlights and fogs and still have some left

I've got some yellow left over after underestimating the size of my fogs. Might look a bit pants on the headlights though! You'll need at least 20"X12" per headlight, slightly more if you want to play it safe. I just measured my old ones. http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/shop/clear.htm they do 12X20 or 12X24. I'd spend the extra £6 and err on the side of caution. :)

Do you think 30cm x 100cm will do both mate

I have hid's for both dip and full, will i see much difference in the amount of light on the road with this lamin x stuff?

i noticed a fair bit of drop off, probably 15% if im to guess. But it looks good

Ok thanks, I suppose eith hid's they scatter a fair but so it mite help with that, thanks again..

it does actually, you still get the look, but the pattern against a wall for example is much more defined

It's just film with little holes in it Isit? Like fly eyes?

nope, it's a protective film and not like fly-eye. It's tougher and moulds to the surface when a little heat is applied.

Nope its a uniform tinted film, no holes just like sunglasses of various tints. Light smoke looks ace but isnt too inhibitive

I did my headlights, fogs and still got left overs!

Ok cool, you find it effects the light quality much? Been looking at light tint, smoked and the yellow but can't decide lol

I didn't notice much with the light tint tbh mate. Don't go for the dark smoke as its like pitch black haha.

Yellow only really looks good on black cars I think

Ok cheers pal :) ill get some on order soon

I prefer the close up look of Lamin-X over the Fly-Eye stuff, although didn't actually find this out until after I had put on the Lamin-X! It's pretty easy to work with and found using an old paper to get make an outline of the headlights to make a template to remove the wastage as it aint cheap!

.... And I also noticed the drop in light output, but this is gonna happen as you're putting a darkend thick layer over the bulb,

Go on then if you want an example!!

I have subtle tint, which is the lightest I believe but still noticed a drop in the light output (naturally!)
