Skoda Octavia vRS Detail

Not my favourite colour...but it did come up well

Andy (Gold Finger) needed a lot of advice and his car needed some work

I have no before pics, but it hadnt had a proper clean since it was done by the Dealer a couple of months ago (Bought Second Hand)

The Paint was dull and lifeless, but suprisingly free of scratches except for a few on the bonnet and roof...Skoda paint is hard and tough..so I should have expected that.

So..It was to be a 'Protection Detail'

Andy chose Carlack 68 AIO cleaner polish and sealer and a wax as the LSP

This is what was done:

1. Car Snow Foamed with Valet Pro pH Neutral Snow Foam

2. Door shuts and wheels were cleaned with Detailing Brushes..(Wheels were pretty good)

3. Car then washed with Farecla G3 Detox Shampoo

4. Car and wheels clayed with Bilt Hamber Regular Clay using the G3 Detox as the lube...Mate Alan did one side and I did the other

5. Car pressure rinsed and then dried with Chem Guys Woolly Mammoth

6. Out with the Meguiars G220 V2 DA Polisher..with Optimum MF Cutting Pad....P1 on the Bonnet and roof only...After several passes, corrected well

7. Whole Car Machine Polished with Carlack 68 AIO cleaner and sealant and same pad

8. Bilt Hamber Finis Wax applied by hand

9. Wheels sealed with Optimum Optiseal

10 Tyres dressed with Meguiars Endurance

11. Glass polished by hand with AG Glass Polish

12. Glass Sealed with RainX

13. Tail pipes finished with Autosol Metal cleaner

Couple of pics at the pub:

Obviously not, Ill be taking advice from now on.
