JOM coilovers geometry and height/settings

Featured Replies

Guys fitted these, and the fronts are maybe just and so higher than the back.

1.What sort of balance should i go for front and back? - should i just have it level?

2. What lowering level should i go for?, i dont want to be scraping the ground but want better handling and not a crashy ride.

3. What is the lowering ranges for these?

4. What geometry/tracking settings should i have, or do i just go for standard?

Thanks

I would say adjust it so the arch is a centimeter above the tyre front and rear. As the front arches are taller it will make her tilt downhill slightly but always looks heeps better. Gives a good handle to it too and as your above tyre height just, the ride should avoid bump stops in 90% of situations.

That's how I like em

I would go for level, otherwise you'll need to get your headlights adjusted to avoid dazzling others.

Having said that if its tilting down that would be less dazzle wouldn't it? That's what I was referring too. Or did you mean his settings?

Iv got mine so the arches are level with the tyre, if you hit a big dip whilst travelling along there will be a bit of tyre scrub on the front and my back in 3/4 the way wound down and it's till looks low as hell, but I find it handles perfectly and looks awesome, also I find that at this height my tyres wear evenly and i've never had my tracking done since putting them on (about 10-12 months)

Hope tis helps,
